The Portax L SR Model is Böckmann’s nod to the equestrian who wants more storage without sacrificing tow-ability!

The Portax L SR answers the need for a tack/dressing room in a compact horse trailer. A total 17’7″ length provides a great storage room with multiple hooks, portable bucket storage hangers, room to secure an upright small tack trunk.  For medium Horses and smaller, the 2 horse straight load stall area.  It has an air vent and 2 lateral sliding windows on each side of the trailer. An additional rubber mat under the front feet for horses with road studs or that like to paw. The Portax L SR offers the standard door-ramp combination, quickly converting from ramp entry to step-up, to accommodate the needs of every horse on your farm! Two generous 33″ wide stalls allow you to tack up a smaller horse or Large pony before you leave for the hunt, head to the trails or scoot over to your neighbour’s for a hack.

Portax L SR Features:

Tack-up a single horse on the trailer by pushing aside the front panel, because the stall dividers hang from a central post. Two full height groom doors secured open creates an airy place for your horses to hang-out. You control the air flow because there are 4 sliding lateral windows, Roof Vent and a rear Storm Canvas with integrated Wind Screen.  Side wall padding and chest bar padding are standard features. Adjustable stall bar settings customize the stall to fit your horse for safer transport! Create the stall length you need for each individual horse you transport.  5′ ramp offers a lower incline for ramp entry. Horses can stand with all 4 feet on the same plane – makes for easy entry. Have a horse that shies from a ramp? Switch the ramp to a wing door creating a step-up entry.

Such a unique offer in a trailer in the 2500kg GVWR weight class. The full dressing room has a seat and boot jack for the rider. Several whip holders and hooks for your bridles, halters and jackets. 2 swiveling saddle racks that hold both English and Western saddles locks into place for travel. A set of 2 sturdy shelves house ample storage. There is even room for the upright Böckmann Profi plastic mobile trunk! Two bracket sets allow you to store the portable water/feed buckets when not in use.

The independent braking system means your trailer constantly adjusts its speed to the tow vehicle’s. The elite WCF Suspension leaves the road chatter at the road.  This Portax L SR model is ideal for Towing behind your Large SUV or Truck.  Quickly drop the coupler onto your 2″ ball, cross and snap on the safety chains and break-away cable.  Then plug in your 4-pin electrical plug- check your lights and pull out!
